All,

AOL

This little gem is going to make me money again. It really ran up at the end of the day. Split shares will make me feel like I have more <g>

In @ 153 3/4 closed 160 3/8. So I am to assume that the close number will be adjusted to 80 1/4 or so. A few more points and I can make up for the losers I am holding.

I am not the proud owner of NM and PAIR and SEVL. If you have any suggestions on these I would appreciate it. Do I just hold and hope some news will pop them, or do I surrender and give in?

All,

Trading style

I noticed that several traders today lost money when their stops were met, only to see the stocks then move back up.

So I guess I am wondering about the value of stops actually put down in a trade. Does the MM dip down, pick them up and then march up the ladder singing HOT HOT HOT?

I would have reduced some losses if I had used stops and in other cases I would not have had the gains because the shares would have been sold before the run up.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Snerd: EFAX: That end of day pop took me by surprise, too. I had expected that to happen at the start! Now I'm hesitant to daytrade
it, especially after looking at its chart.
