Lazar, Why are momentum players and traders (me being one) getting trashed, when they, according to you, are the ones who ramp the price up?

Because some of my best friends play this game, and more often than not they get burned. Long-term momentum players really don't alter things that much, because they are playing a zero sum game. Look at Dell's price 3 months ago compared to today to see what I mean. All you need to confirm this is to look at the implied volatility two weeks ago compared to where it is now.

When you "invest" without regard to at least some idea of the fundamentals of the investment vehicle you are playing the greater fool game. At some point you run out of fools. If you a momentum player and were lucky you got out of Dell prior to Nile's report. If you were like some long time Dell heads you knew that the run up was unsustainable based on the most bullish earnings imaginable.
