Interestingly, as the stock was dropping, Morgan Stanley was in the options market buying puts heavily over the past two sessions, according to traders at both the Pacific Exchange and the Chicago Board Options Exchange.

A put gains in value as a stock declines, but can be coupled with a stock purchase to create a "long" position.

On Thursday, for instance, 1,600 March 70 puts (BNQ ON) and 1,100 March 80 puts (BNQ OP) changed hands. And on Friday -- as this month's options expired -- more than 1,700 contracts of the February 85 puts (BNQ NQ) traded.

Salude to all the "BUSSERS" - Norman!
