There is an inherent maintenance/service cost associated with each copy shipped.

Is it 1, 5, 50 cents a copy, I don't know, but I'm sure that THQ has factored it in.

They (THQ) obviously believe there is some profit to be gained by this agreement with INTC (monetary or otherwise) or they would not have made the deal.

Why make any money at all on the bowling game supplied with the P-III. If I were BF, I would write-off the expense to advertising and use the opportunity to introduce Sinistar and the company to the public. Also remember, that AMD is starting to market their K-III chip and alot of the other publishing companies have indicated that they are supporting AMD. With the cash that this company has, giving the product away would just be good business.
