** READ PLEASE... RE: SEMINAR **

I was asking A@P to video tape the seminar for those
unforntunate Pirate's that can't attend. He didn't
seem keen on the idea.. video tape/distribution.. etc..

If someone wants to video tape the seminar, rent a cheap
camera.. point and click... I don't care too much about
professional quality, I am sure there are many folks who would kick down some good $$$$ for da-video !!

Any takers ?

Pirate

AV8r,
I respectfully disagree that the increased cost for the 500 or so who will attend vs the 20-30 picks that get officially endorsed and thus compted. Lets say it costs $1000 per person so $500,000 for the grand event total. Now it will cost $530,000 just $30,000 more for those who contributed picks that became official plays (only offically endorsed plays count). Now lets say half of those picks would have already been done by Anthony anyway. That means 15 picks exist that would have been missed by the group. Now I would be very conservative in guessing that at least 100 lurkers play these picks( I actually think its much higher ). And lets say the average profit for each lurker per pick is $500 assuming everybody is small potatoes (which I know is not the case). That means that each person based on the low number profited on average $7500. $7500 times 100 = $750,000. Thus the net increased benefit by my plan is $720,000 (more than the cost of the function). If those returns don't give you a positive net present value I don't know what will. Plus it shifts the burden a little away from Anthony and more to the group. The ultimate goal of this thread is for the group to educate themselves so they don't have to rely on any one person but collectively as a team (what if he got hit by a bus?)Whats that saying about teaching a man to fish..... It is also a more efficient means for Anthony to declare official shorts. He does not have to look around is much but rather check out what is presented. I think this is a no brainer because there exist no negatives. It increases the opportunities on the thread!
