Slower with respect to others? No.

Slower historically speaking? Of course. That's why DELL is trading lower.

In the press release I read it said DELL expected to grow at 3X the growth rate of the industry. The expectation -- think it was DELL's, but I'll have to check ... was that the entire industry would grow in the
mid-single digits => DELL will grow at 15 - 18%.

Very optimistic concerning the industries rate of growth in that it is predicting a turnaround of sorts. DELL may grow that fast (15 -18%), but the stock will be further repriced downward even if that rosy expecation is met.

The analysts have hoodwinked you with this comparison game, methinks. ASPs will certainly fall as DELL tries to achieve this growth rate.
