dave,

Will also use the OEX for March spread trade. I don't have an actual position open as yet, but it is one that I may open.

Short OEYCK Mar 655C 3 5/8-4 (+3 5/8)
Long OEYCM Mar 665C 1 3/4-2 (-2)
Credit + 1 5/8

Good Trading

Dave

Dazzled -

Can you help us rookies understand some margin requirements?
In an earlier post you mentioned you had made the following:

bought the
March 670 calls, OEYCN, for 1 3/8 and sold the
March 640 calls, OEYCH, for 8 5/8
for a net credit of 7 1/4.

When you have a credit spread, do you still have a substantial
margin requirement for your account, even though the spread
is bringing funds into your account? Or is a typical margin
requirement for an OEX credit spread fairly small?

Thanks.
Bob J.
