VLAD,

My last post tonight. The SI board is really slow.

FWIW, I don't think VIVUS has a choice right now but to conserve cash. IMO it would concern me a great deal to see cash being used right now since there is no DP. Look at current ratio of .85!

The solution to VIVUS problems, and the increase in shareholder value, lies in growing scripts. Growing scripts will quickly lower fixed unit cost and improve margin. DP is required to get scripts growing again.

I don't know what type sales force/effort domestic today. I am going to write LW a letter and this is one of the areas of concern I have at this time. Is VIVUS in complete holding pattern domestically until DP signed? I hope there is a sales effort on-going in this interim period but I doubt it.

I am impressed that there are any domestic scripts at all given my overall impression that MUSE is selling itself to a few PCP that have gotten the message. Look at the numbers. They are pretty steady which tells me sales and marketing will increase scripts. THIS IS KEY. The other issues over time will be much better addressed with much higher scripts.

I think VIVUS stock price will not move up very fast and if script data were to show domestic growth with DP then VIVUS might consider an aggressive buyback to decrease float, squeeze the #$^! out of the pain in the a** shorts, and reward those shareholders who hunkered down for the past 12 to 18 months.
