There are lots of stock channels. The other server is the undernet servers. a lot of channels moved since overnet is mainly local to the us and has fa fewer people. undernet usually has around 250000 people using it. also try www.mirc.com , mirc is the irc client used by most. Some of us also use ICQ which is not open like IRC, with ICQ, its the same company AOL bought out last year, www.icq.com you need to know the other persons # to talk to them. And its a lot safer. The naive might get their heads chopped of on irc or the very least mugged.
