Bloomberg news U.S. Equity Preview: Advanced Micro, Aetna, Global Imaging New York, Feb. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may move in U.S. markets Monday, Feb. 22. U.S. Equity Preview includes news that broke after the markets closed. Friday's closing prices are included. The stock symbol is in parentheses after the company name. Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD): Gateway 2000 Inc. (GTW) said it will broaden its use of chips from the computer chip-maker, Intel Corp.'s (INTC) biggest rival in the microprocessor market. Gateway expects to start shipping machines featuring AMD's K6 processors as early as the second quarter. Advanced Micro rose 5/8 to 17 3/4. Gateway rose 3 3/4 to 72 7/8. Aetna Inc. (AET): The biggest U.S. health insurer said it got a second request for information from the Department of Justice in connection with the pending acquisition of Prudential HealthCare. Aetna said it still expects the transaction to close in the second quarter of 1999. Aetna fell 1 3/16 to 77. Del Laboratories Inc. (DLI): The cosmetics company said it lost 5 cents a share in the fourth quarter, compared with net income of 36 cents a year earlier. Del fell 1/8 to 23 7/8. Global Imaging Systems Inc. (GISX): The supplier of copiers and other office equipment said it acquired Henderson's Office Systems of Corvallis, Oregon, its 31st acquisition since it was founded in 1994. Terms of the transaction weren't disclosed. Global Imaging rose 1/16 to 17 9/16. Hannaford Brothers Co. (HRD): The grocery-store chain said it will buy back as much as $100 million of common stock. Hannaford fell 1/16 to 46 5/8. Liberty Financial Cos.(L): The agreement of the company, which owns eight fund-management firms, to buy Societe Generale SA's (GLE FP) U.S. mutual funds unit is facing mounting difficulties as assets of the SoGen funds are down 40 percent since the transaction was announced, said people familiar with the discussions. Liberty fell 13/16 to 22 1/8. TRW Inc. (TRW): The largest U.S. maker of airbags said President and Chief Operating Officer Peter S. Hellman resigned and the company will eliminate his positions before it closes its pending purchase of LucasVarity Plc (LVA). TRW fell 3/8 to 49 3/16. Tickers: AMD AET GISX Best wishes James
