The point IF the market were to CRASH to say 4000-7000 over the next year..( which is easily possible IMHO) A lot of capital WILL be lost.. Corporate spending would be greatly reduced. Bankruptcies and defaults would be everywhere. My point is This market is extremely leveraged, and walking on thin ice.. As you have seen in recent weeks, Rambus fell out of bed, with only the slightest comments from management then a few rumors kicked it in the head. What everyone here seems to be doing is basing everything on perfect execution.. which rarely happens.. Look what happened to Intel and Micron over the last 18 months, miss one note and castration... This is my point. Again I am also a Rambus Bull but I am just a lot of realistic in what might not happen rather than what should happen.

Polaroid, Xerox, Tandy, Apple, Digitial Research and Sony Betmax should be the kings of the world but they ain't...

Great propsects but poor execution...

Don
