I disagree. AMZN doesn't have any earnings right now. So, people are willing to pay any price for the stock. Once it has earnings, then we'll know how to price the stock!

Also, looking at the PSR (price/sales ratios) of AMZN, it is around 22, close to MSFT's 23 or so. And MSFT is quite a different kind of animal -- not only does it boast of reams and reams of IP, it is also a decided monopoly that has come under DOJ's scrutiny.

I think it is only a question of time before AMZN, YHOO, EBAY and other stocks that have gone to the moon will find their way back to the earth.
