Lillie is more of a management guy than a PR guy.

His concerns for the company are long term while people who drove the price up recently are thinking 1 week into the future. If you listened to Lillie's chat, you would have appreciated how a Portal deal was just a small fraction of what he had to deal with in terms of managing the company. Obviously, he wants a deal, but if the deal came in a week or 3 months, you get the sense that he wouldn't care because his thoughts are on the longterm development of the company which depends on issues such as infrastructure, successful launch of collectibles.com, getting greater TV distribution, etc... there are so many things that are critical for the longterm health of this company that Lillie is concerned about, while traders could care less about anything besides a portal deal.

But, the price shot up on rumours that a Portal deal was imminent, w/o a deal soon, the price is going to crash down. It would have been very easy for Lillie to have tipped off that a deal was coming in the chatroom on Thurs. Wouldn't you think he would have answered the question with a little more gusto if a portal deal was in the works. I would think that he would have answered the question more like this'"... we are very hopeful of getting a Portal deal in the near future".. instead of "we are having ongoing discussions with a number of companies which include portals." It doesn't sound too convincing for the short term to me. Not HOWIE
