Hi Tom, The best thing I can say is to build something big time in options,it has to be done on weakness. The volatility gets to high on the rallies. It is a rare time that a market explodes and options pay off big- on time. This could be the exception and a time to go for it-having said what I did. One another thing. There is no one right way. It is how you play it. You can do it all right now and then not get out in time. Your personality for trading will be different than others. Emotions take over for some ( most ). That can affect plans. The big money is made on these rare big moves. But they are hard to play on a trading short term basis. A bit of a ramble, but you have asked a toughie.
