BB -

That really was a curious post, wasn't it.

Mr. Reid has never acknowledged any of his numerous misstatements of fact, nor his verifiable lies, as far as I can recall. If he does post under multiple identities, he's in violation of SI's Terms of Use. Willfully posting false information is also a violation, but it's hard to prove willfulness. SI's administrator seems to err on the side of lenience, which I believe is the right thing to do.

In the meantime, I have been thinking that I will again try to stop responding to him. One can't argue with a zealot.

While I do think it is a disservice to casual readers of this thread to let disinformation go uncorrected, I also believe that allowing myself to be goaded is counterproductive.

Perhaps I'll just post one daily Reality Check, and let it go at that. I'm still thinking about it.

Kudos. Keep up the good fight. Every new lurker needs to know what RR really is - a cheap fraud, unchecked by a legal system stretched too thin.
