Steve G,
Thank you for the reports on WCII, TGNT and NXTL very informative. Keeps me focused on the fundamentals rather than the sudden ups and downs in price.
I found an interesting advertisement regarding WCII in the 3/1/99 edition of Fortune magazine. There is a statement that WCII breaks even having just one customer in a building for their outlay in capital expense (assuming an average customer has 20 lines). Additionally, a fiber based carrier would need to sell 140 lines to recover their cost outlay. In the Lehman report they stated there was a radio on each of the 1000 Millenium buildings.
Williams bought 2% of WCII U.S. network capacity for $400 million. One could ask a few questions: what value will the network have when they are in the top 60 U.S. markets? add in 50 international cities?
Warm Regards,
Gary
