Chris,
<The god of this world does not like christians and will do all that's in his power to make their witness ineffective>>
If you could read the Bible without having everything mean YOU, you could see that the god of this world is not fond of Jews either. In the first Church they were mostly wanting the Jews to stop converting. They had lost tens of thousands in one day when only one person had sinned. How about the Romans persecution of Christians?
<<Fine, so you believe that during the holocaust he never forsook any of the Jews? >>
Now that is classic CHris, Emile says more Christians died than Jews so I guess you think God was forsaking them also? Honestly the Jews got their land back shortly after this so that is not forsaking to me just persecution from people like you.
<<During the destruction of Jerusalem he was sending them love messages right?>>
Are you crazy? Where there no Christians fed to lions burned at the stake etc.. in Rome.
Chris your heart is getting harder and harder as you persue this goal of making God unfaithful. People are unfaithful not God.

<He will always prove to be a vicious enemy to those who purposely deny the Lord Jesus Christ>>
I will have to ask for scripture reference on this one. This statement proves your unloving arrogant attitude to the lost in the world and that is my entire point with you. Let the Holy Spirit circumcise your heart Chris.
He loved us while we were still sinners.
Nancy
P.S. <<It's time to start getting real.>> Are you saying this to me or yourself?

Chris;

Your ignorance would be laughable if it were not so sad. You need to become educated before you attempt to teach. The world hates what God loves. He certainly loves the Jews even in their error. He loved me when I was yet a sinner as well.

1Ti 1:5-7 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and [of] a good conscience, and [of] faith unfeigned: From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm

Stop embarrassing yourself.

Don't think so! He will always prove to be a vicious enemy to those who purposely deny the Lord Jesus Christ. Those infamous words echo down through the corridors of history....his blood be upon us, and upon our children... While Jerusalem was being destroyed the bishop of the church had led all the Christians out of the city to safety because God told him to.

The above tells it all about you my friend..... Death has no meaning to God. If you think all who hold God close have wonderful lives your more than just Naive. God a VICIOUS ENEMY boy keep on going and blaspheme his purpose and who he is. Your above statement is a great Sin until you deal with it your hatred will continue to manifest you. It leads people to perform horrible acts in the name of God.... keep it up and those acts you will find an excuse for with you sick mentality. People are searching for Jesus and who he is your poor example has driven many away the price will be for you to pay by setting God up as a Vicious Enemy. The Vicious Enemy is satan he is the cause of our misery not God. Satan has it out for the lost and is using you very well because of your pride .....Your Christian pride (Your definition of Christianity.)

Alan

Chris,
Just a word of encouragement as you face the fiery darts of Satan.
We must strengthen the resolves in our hearts that we are in Christ and Christ in us. We must feel and fellowship with the Holy Spirit on a daily schedule. Only the fellowship of the Holy Spirit can give us quietness and peace during these periods of attact.
The Church is the Body of Believers--the Body of Christ--who have Christ living in them. Those who would constantly try to slander and curse the children of God in Christ, are not of God. Notice carefully how quickly these same people curse the Body of Christ---the Church--with one side of their mouths and then turn around and praise and honor antichrist forces and institutions with the other side. They search for every spot and wrinkle in the Church to blaspheme against her, but pretend to be blind to the antichrist nature of modern Judaism.
They curse the saints and martyrs who gave their lives for the Body of Christ, but exalt the enemies of Christ who destroy little children by teaching them to hate Christ.

Why do they love evil and hate good? Why is the Christian Church so repugnant to them and the antichrist forces so attractive? Their hates and loves identify the spirit within them.

May Christ strengthen you and maintain your peace and love through all your trials and tribulations.

Emile

Chris, so the Roman destruction of Jerusalem and the Nazi Holocaust were examples of God being a "vicious enemy to those who purposely deny the Lord Jesus Christ" because of "those infamous words echo(ing) down the corriders of history...his blood be upon us, and upon our children".

Can you explain who God was being a vicious enemy to (and why) in the instances listed below?

- the genocide of Turkish Armenian Christians at the hands of Moslem Turks and Kurds;

- the Moslem conquest and destruction/replacement of Christianity in the Byzantine Empire and the whole of Christian North Africa and Middle East, not to mention parts of the Spanish and Balkan peninsulas for a period of centuries (as you probably know, at one time the population of the lands south and east of the Mediterranean were as Christian as the lands north of the Mediterranean, yet after the Moslem conquests, Christianity disappeared from most of these territories);

- the savaging of parts of Christian Europe by non-Christian invaders from central Asia (Huns and later Mongols);

- the conquest and destruction of the Roman Empire in the west by pagan invaders from northern Europe shortly after Christianity became the established religion of the empire;

- the eventual destruction of the kingdoms established by the Christian Crusaders.

And BTW, in regard to your statement "Don't equate the persecution of Christians with the Judeans because I
never saw the Judeans being persecuted for evangelizing in the name of
Jesus.", none of the examples I've listed involve Christians being persecuted for evangelizing. The Mongols, Huns, Moslems, Goths, Vandals, and the rest were out for power, riches, and booty and couldn't care less about evangelizing.

PS: I know there is a church tradition that "While Jerusalem was being destroyed the bishop of the church
had led all the Christians out of the city to safety (to Pella) because God told
him to." but I don't know whether this is historically accurate. If you know of any evidence, please let me know.
