I just discovered who sold me those 3,000 shares of PRFM on 02/18/99: Jimmy, if you are referring to the entry of 3000 shares on 2/18, it is a cute idea, but not your trade. Form 144 filings are for an intention to sell. No transaction was made yet. Here's the definition from insidertrader.com: Form 144 data is considered by many to be the second most useful stream of insider information the SEC has to offer. This Form is filed by people holding unregistered securities as the final part of a process that exempts the shares from being registered with the SEC before being sold in the open market. Form 144s are therefore a harbinger of the insider selling activity that will be filed with the SEC in the near future. What's neat about that site, however (and thanks for the link), is that you can search for insider buying. Now THAT's useful!
