>>Amazon.com does not have a valid DNS

Does that matter? Game is over. Amazon is the Walmart of the Web.
Someone projects the stock doubles everytime Amazon introduces a new tag (selling a new line of products) on its home page.

Imagine (again) that Amazon announces that they will start selling Starbucks coffee next week. What a perfect item to go with books and CDs! What a nightmare for shorts!

As I pointed out about a year ago, you can't think of Amazon as a retailer on the web. You must think of it as a portal as well. Its users are much more valuable than even AOL's or YHOO's because they come, with credit cards in hand, to spend money - not to just browse around. And the way that the stock outperformed AOL and YHOO the last 6 months certainly confirms my belief.
