Your are so right. If CNBC utters a word about a stock, it's price jumps immediately! They have the ability to effect a stock greatly. I do agree that it would be a feather in bid.com's cap to be interviewed by CNBC, as long as Godin is well prepared to be grilled by several of the regulars on the show. I witnessed an interview with a CEO of a company a few months ago, in which he was grilled by a frequent guest of the show. The stock plummeted because this guest, whose name I won't mention, said very negative comments to the company's CEO on the air. Afterwards, CNBC received many letters complaining about the unfair bullying of the CEO. The guest, who made the negative comments, was investigated to see if he was shorting the stock. It turned out that he was not. He was lucky, because if he had been shorting the stock, his comments on the air would have been made for his own personal gain, and I think it's possible IMO he might have faced a lawsuit. Any CEO going on that show must be prepared for every question coming from at least two or three of the regulars. You can bet that every investor in the U.S. is sitting on the edge of their seat listening to every word. I keep CNBC on all day when I am home. They have a huge effect on the market in that a positive or negative word effects the stock immediately. I have noticed they are beginning to choose their words alittle more carefully when talking about a company. I have e-mailed them asking them to state facts and not their opinions. Squawk box really has on a great bunch of guys to listen to every morning. Anyway, I for one, would like to see BII advertise on CNBC so that future investors will be familiar with the company when it hits the Nasdaq. Also, I would like to hear CNBC mention that the application for the Nasdaq by this Internet Auction company out of Canada is in progress! Investors will respond to this big time! This is news and it should be put out there to heighten public awareness! Youv'e heard the saying, "location, location, location". In BII's case it is: Awareness, Awareness, Awareness!! (No snide remarks Doug)! RG
