fwiw (probably not much)--GE did used to be in an allied business. They made the silicon that wafers were cut out of.

At least that's what my Saturday morning mind recalls from a trade show 15 years ago.

I hope AMAT's management do not follow CSCO. (CSCO by the way is about to occupy with 5 Bldgs and 4K additional employees on the last agricultural piece of land here in Milpitas)...

As an AMAT LEAP Investor, I prefer AMAT to remain Cyclic so I can buy AMAT LEAPs at say 4/sh (when the stock goes below 30) then sell the LEAPs up to 80/sh (as the stock goes above 100) --- every 2 years!...
