Slightly OT:

I bought some traders @ $26 3/8. I've read some recent tax suggestions in a number of different publications that discuss a "specific lot identification method". Apparently, if you don't specify the lot, the IRS assumes First In First Out (FIFO). When I sell the trader's, I want to specify those shears, not the shares I purchased for the long term @ $9.

How do I do this with my online broker (Discover Brokerage)?

Thanks,

Sam
