MileHigh, A suggestion: Let's make our new estimates AFTER next weeks IDF. I know that I'm not going to guess anything until I hear more from Intel. Alternatively, at least give people the chance to alter them after the meeting. Dave B

Also, for everyone who's guessing under $100 close for the year, this means that you think we'll be flat to down for the year. I have a little trouble believing that'll be the case since we WILL (think positive!) actually be shipping in PCs by the end of the year. At the end of 1998, our forward looking PE was 240 ($96 share price divided by $.40 per share estimated earnings). If it were to remain at 240, the price would be somewhere around $240, since the estimated earnings for next year are around $1.00 per share. Even if it gets cut in half -- which won't happen -- we'd be at $120. Just trying to help you think this through. Of course, if we're not shipping by the end of the year, I'll be first in line to join the Flat to (Way) Down Club. Which is why I want to hear what Intel has to say next week. Dave

MileHigh, May I join? Low: 60, High: 124, Close: 92 Caveat: If RMBS announces a new idea, The high will be 180, and the close will be very close, say 160. But if they come up with a new idea, we should all recast our ballots (and celebrate pretty heartily.) Regards, Marc
