Gold lease rate up!
Can you verify this information? I just go to the lease rate site and see nothing change. (http:www.cairns.net.au)

C. Hudson,

Like Mr. Lee, I would also like to see some documentation of the lease rate claims. There may be an attack on Gold at hand, but I think the CB's will do their best to stabilize prices. It seems to me that increasing lease rates on gold is equivalent to increasing margin requirements in equities. It would seem to be meant to dissuade easy borrowing of an asset on margin in order to sell it short.

Look forward to seeing your confirmation.

As for the Pink Floyd lyric, "With, without.......and who'll deny it's what the fighting's all about", it certainly seems to be an unfortunate truism.

Regards,

Ron
