Below average joe,
You don't know how to operate a business as your foray into the junior public markets was a fiasco and failure.... regarding kimberlite and diamonds, your posts indicate you don't know anything about mineral chemistry, petrology, geology, mineral exploration, mining engineering, mine finance, mining economics....you seem to be just plain ignorant....you are not fooling anyone on these threads.....why persist in belittling yourself in the eyes and minds of others? Why don't you list your currriculum vitea so we can all pay homage? Citing comments from George Strnad, your Russiasn geologist friend, and out of context without knowledge or facts only serves to illustrate your character. Further more, I doubt Mr. Strnad appreciates what you are doing here.

Joe -- I finally see your point (its on the top of your head). You're right, there are no diamonds here and 20 million tonnes is not near enough ore to mine profitably.
Here's my idea. We don't "MINE" this baby we just keep on exploring it with exploration permits. It is so very difficult to get a bankable feasibility study so I propose a "strictly bulk sample program" We will need to bulk sample about 100,000 tonnes a month for approximately 20 years in order to really know if this ore body is economical.
Beauty plan Joe. We put a small processing facility in. ( its not a mill Joe. Mills cost at least 500 billion dollars) No need to get an environmental permit or a mining permit because we are not mining, only taking a bulk sample.

You are truly a Genius. You are the man I want to know because you are the man who teaches me things,

P.S. Joe -- What color is the sky in your world?

Yes Joe you finally got it.
Had BHP wanted to build a smaller mine they could have. A company makes corporate decisions, how big a mine, how long for the mine life etc et al. They could have built a bigger mine they could have built a smaller mine. Just like a house. Descisions get made.
Thats why some mines hAVE 50 EMPLOYEES, OTHERS HAVE 500 AND SOME HAVE 5000. Someone in corporate headquarters decides. Do you honestly believe mines only come in one size. Do you think someone walks into Beaver lumber and says I want to buy a mine and the clerk replies Ok that will be a half billion they only make them in one size.
Joe read the northern miner or a book on mining or something.
You honestly believe that because BHp spent a half billion at Ekati that all diamond mines cost a half billion??????
And if you think high grade mines need $2000 ORE TO OPERate you are also crazy, you never did explain where you pulled that number from. And yes Joe and there some very small Mom and Pop mines mining speciality ores that do extremely well. Just buy a copy of rock and gem mag and learn a little about specialty sample mines. There are snad and gravel mines that do quite nicely and they sure dont cost no 1/2 billion and their ore is worth a few bucks a truck load but they still make money.
Live and learn Joe but most of all learn.....
regards Walt
