You're looking for a PCMCIA, or PCcard modem. You can pick them up new for about, $90-200 depending on speed, manufacturer, etc.

ebay.com might have some good bargains.

Onsale.com is also good.

Do a search on practically any search engine (Yahoo!, Excite, Alta Vista, etc) for computer parts, and you'll come up with tons of company sites that do mail order.

Just a suggestion...Try to make sure that you don't get a Winmodem type. As a technician, experience tells me how difficult they can be to set-up and troubleshoot if something goes wrong. Spend a few more bucks and get a good 3COM/USR 56k v.90
