Exactly! Check an intraday chart and find a point at which you'd like to short (just below the day's high is best), put in a limit sell short order and, if the broker has the shares to borrow, you will be short the chosen number of shares if and when the stock hits your price.

Short Selling - I short stocks when the story is compelling enough. For good short selections try Subject 19404 and
Subject 13607 but before entering any recommended trades, study the thread to see posters are truly knowledgeable. I followed both threads for a long time before taking any recommendations.
