The answer is yes, but my comparison would be wrt the S&P500. If that traded at 3x the present value, and DELL did as well, I would still buy DELL (and the S&P500 in an index fund :-)) based on relative valuation. IOW, I leave valuation to the market. I am not smart enough (and I believe nobody is) to outguess the market in the long run.
