>as opposed to the sucky people.

I was walking back with friends one night across a campus parking lot, and a lady cranked up her engine, revved it, then backed straight into the side of a line of cars that were parked perpendicular to hers.

She pulled forward, then backed into the car again!

Then she got out, looked at what she had hit, then got in her car and slowly drove away.

It gave us much pleasure to give the license number to the cops on the cellphone, after telling them it was a hit and run and likely drunken driver.

Has anyone noticed that, after reading morris' typing. you begin to put pauses in the most interesting parts. of sentences?

you can trust me on that. :)

The caviat is, here in the bay area, it seems that about 50% of the parking spaces in
malls, movie theatres etc. are too small (the old "compact" variety - not angled, just
straight line). They do this because real estate is so expensive and they are just trying to
pack as many cars in as possible. I have a BMW and I have been dinged a few times - and
I know the real problem is the size of the spaces and crowds in general, as opposed to the
sucky people.

Michelle,

I work at a mall and a strip shopping center. I drive a BMW and I also have a Nissan 300ZX that I use during the summer. I gave up being concerned about dings. There is not enough room between parking spaces anywhere I believe. It just does not seem like it is that big a deal. Maybe I am just not enough of a car buff.
