RE: PCNTF

Interesting message from Rande.

Another conspiracy theory? SI is full of them these days.
The idea that lead underwriter, Lehman brothers, is either an active participant or unknowing dupe in an IPO "pump and dump" scheme -
is a far fetched.

Perhaps a bit of objectivity is called for.

For one "zillions of shares" are not scattered around the world.

I cannot find one other exchange besides NASDAQ that lists it.

It does not even trade in Singapore, though PAcific Internet is
currently trying to get a listing there.

Some facts:
PacNet is one of three ISPs in Singapore.
PacNet one of the only ISPs in the world to actually have a profit.
PacNet plans to use IPO proceeds to aggressively expand in Asia.
PAcnet currently in talks to aquire 100% stake in HongKong Supernet.
PacNet looking to expand next to India and Australia.

THough Pacnet being profitable is good, that will probably not continue in the short term as its aggressive expansion plans will
definitely create large costs for the co.

Another thought - I have gone thru the Yahoo posts and there are
(what appears to be Asian investors) mocking those who bought at such
high prices - yet to be honest - its only in the US where internets
are trading at such high valuations. You would get the same reaction
in any part of the world.

Thats all I could dig up so far.
Let you know if I find anything else.

Good Trading
