scum, in hindsight, AMD should have considered selling the Embedded Division Vantis when it sold off a major holding of Xilink. Xilink makes field programable chips. You eighter keeps both pieces and stay commited or exit the business completly. I don't have a good feel for what AMD's exit stratgedy is for Vantis. by ow it should lhave been sold off. best IPO market in the last century is now.
