Tom Cat, you have hit one of the most important points on the head, so you take a bow. The problem at VB was that the geophysicists led all the juniors on a wild goose chase, chasing geophysical anomalies. There were tens of thousands of targets in the VB region. No one had a clue which ones were pregant or which ones were barren.
You note that neither VB nor NWI were discovered by geophysics they were discovered with the human eye. I don't think you'll see the same mistake make by the seasoned explorers that enter the NWI camp. Yes, you will see some of the inexperinced geologists hired by some of the juniors reinvent the wheel.
Keep up the good comments Tom Cat.
