Beyond.Com acquires Buydirect.com... EGGS has some serious competition now with Beyond's on-line software acquisition of Buydirect.com It's so simple now. EGGHEAD.COM needs to buy Beyond.com and they'll have the lion's share of the on-line software market. Combine that with EGGHEAD's auction site...wow! With the news today, BYND is looking like it will EGGS main competitor in regards to software. Best of luck SCOTT PS Looks like the correction MAY be over for now, as I suspected last week. Let's watch the close. Most all 'nets have bounced off their support levels since last week.

Anaxagoras, Belated thanks for info and link regarding Cyberposium. Been spending some time on psft, intu, and some other boards. Last check, Orban's summary and video were still not available. One can reasonably conclude nothing dramatic or new came from the conference. Here's an interesting article from Intel's board on e-commerce growth. dailynews.yahoo.com I'm staying long Long for the next year at least. The future looks great for e-commerce and Eggs is very well positioned to take a large chunk of that trade. All the best. Bull
