<< Hey, you Idiot! Get off of the thread. >>

Ok, ok. I'll leave, as long as I don't get another question from you.

<< Term limits would help to reestablish a citizen government, the type of government envisioned by the founders of the US. >>

Oppppps, another question! <g>

A "citizen" government? Do you think that our government is filled with non citizens? This is a totally meaningless phrase from you. A citizen government!?

Who would you want in office, someone with no experience with government affairs or politics? Do you want people in government without any experience in handling large, complicated projects?

<< It would mean politicians would no longer feed off of taxpayers for life. >>

"Feed off"? A person has to make a reasonable wage. If I find a capable representative, which is not always an easy thing, I want to pay his salary for as long as he or she is willing to do the job. Do you expect our representatives to work for nothing? Why begrudge them a carreer in politics?

I've had a computer career for around 40 years. If I thought that I would only be allowed to stay in the job for a few years, I would've become a minister instead.

<< It would mean diminished clout of the special interest groups. >>

Absolute and unadulterated garbage. You think that the special interests would not hit on politicans who had no experience, and was new to the job? Besides that, special interests are somewhat healthy for our country. For instance: Suppose you are a chicken farmer. The congress is going to pass a new law saying that chickens can only be feed pepperoni pizzas. (Hey, it's a stretch, but who could trust a government run by Republicans?).

Well, as a chicken farmer, you'd get your special interest ass down to Washington as fast as your little feet could carry you.

<< Get lost Robert. You don't have a clue. Go post on your "I would like to get raped by Clinton" thread. >>

Damn! You really know how to post in a mature, decent and friendly way. How do you do it?
