1. I am writing this on a Mac. I am thinking of getting a PC because of the plethora of financial apps. available to PC vs. Mac- This is Jobs fault and shows the openness of Windows platform.
2. What are these barriers other than the need to overcome critical mass in the market place. It took MSFT 12 years or more to get where they are today and AAPL had the same chance.
3. True - reflects effectiveness and openness of MSFT strategy vs. Mac strategy.
4.Browser is no more than any other I/O device. Brings data in from the net.
5.Predatory browser pricing? I have downloaded for no charge every NSCP browser I have ever used. ISP's also supplied them free of charge.
6. Tying was declared a non event in the last overturn of Jackson's last decision.

If someone inside the company writes a memo that borders on action that is illegal it is not evidence that MSFT did anything illegal in the market place. Rose of CPQ made that quite clear in his recent testimony. What other than theatrics was Boise's point in asking Rosen if he knew about disclosing BEOS to MSFT- what has this got to do with anything other than accusing Rosen in public of doing something unethical.

There never has been a case.
