Myron, please check the Bop machine. Might need a tune up or recalibration. Auto parts sector did have a good session on Fri. but much stronger sectors appear to be Ship building, Home Improvement and Restaurants. The two stocks that you mentioned, SRI and RAIL, SRI is an autoparts company, but I didn't find anything very exciting. RAIL is predominantly a railroad company. Ken W. also likes a railroad stock, PRRR. If Ken has an opportunity, maybe he'll tell us what he likes about PRRR. RAIL is up 42% over last 12 months and up about 22% this year. Trades at a premium over other railroad stocks due to its truck trailer division and a higher growth rate. It was the only stock in the railroad sector that I could find that hit a new high on Friday. From Dow Jones: Railamerica Inc. Dow Jones Newswires -- February 19, 1999 RailAmerica Inc. Up 12%; Company Can't Explain NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--RailAmerica Inc.'s (RAIL) shares reached a 52-week high Friday and were recently up more than 9%, which the company said might have been caused by recent news reports that it was a top contender for an Australian rail privatization contract.A spokesman for the Boca Raton, Fla., railroad operator wouldn't confirm RailAmerica's status in the contract bidding, but said the company expected to learn of the contract's winner early next week. The Australian Financial Review reported Feb. 12 that a consortium led by RailAmerica was the front-runner to buy the "V/Line" rail freight business owned by the government of Victoria, Australia, for about $100 million. The Journal Of Commerce reported Feb. 17 that RailAmerica is believed to be one of two final bidders for the contract.Several traders said earlier they knew no reason for the stock's rise Friday.RailAmerica's shares recently were up 1 1/16 to 10 5/16 on Nasdaq volume of 251,700. Average daily volume is 63,600. Earlier the shares reached 10 3/4, passing the 52-week high of 10 1/2 reached Tuesday.-
