Only 31 days until we reach critical mass. The pressure to cut production continues to grow. One nation after the other falling into lock step. We are approaching one of the most critical dates in the history of crude oil or at least since the bubbling crude days of the Beverly Hillbillys. Following the meeting, I still think surprises on the demand side will make Headlines for the remainder of the year. The next major corrections in the Dow and S&P500 will undoubtedly be blamed on rising commodity prices, particularly crude, and the ensuing threat of rising inflation. The CRB Bridge Index is sitting on a multi-decade low and it will eventually turn. It always has and crude price increases would be my choice as the ultimate leader of the pack followed by precious metals. Silver has already mounted a modest comeback off its recent lows.
