Robert Duke, in response to why I think AOL will be in the vicinity of 175 at close of business July 2, I would like to refer you to the following post:

Further, I would like to state that even though we have seen a downturn in the stocks during the past 2 weeks, there are investors taking profits and causing the downturn. They are taking their profits and they continue to remain in the stock market, on the prowl to grab bargains. When AOL splits on Tuesday 2/23 morning, its value comes down by half and these investors will see that as a drop in price by half. In their minds, it is a buying opportunity. Si I expect to see a runup, immediately following the split. Investors have made money in Yahoo, Amazon, EBay and that money will start to flow into AOL.
