Aren't you denny?

Regarding MIKL, consider this:

biz.yahoo.com

Scroll down and look at the "Earnings Growth" section.

Based on the numbers provided there, does anyone think MIKL should trade at a discount to either the S&P or food sector peers?

Hi VLNC Investors:

I've been a consistent lurker (and very rarely a contributor) to this thread for about 18 months. Just this last week I purchased the AIQ Trading Expert Pro system. I got it set up and updated the historical data for VLNC and took a quick look at the results. I've posted them here FWIW. My disclaimer - I'm pretty much a novice at TA so direct any intelligent questions at me - maybe next week...or month... Anyway, if I get any positive feedback I'll post again as the data changes.

On 2/3 the system generated an "expert" buy rating of 99. AIQ's manuals say that buy/sell ratings of 95 or higher are significant. The following text in quotes was generated by the system as the explanation for the "expert" rating:

"Analysis of the rate of change of the exponentially smoothed average price suggests the start of an uptrend for this equity. The rate of change is positive and continuing to climb which indicates increasing strength. This is a bullish indicator for a continuation in this market."

"The equity price has crossed and closed above the intermediate term 7% exponentially smoothed average price. This indicates a continuation of the current price movement and is considered a weak bullish signal which is sometimes followed by an upward movement in prices."

"The equity price has crossed and closed above the long term 4% exponentially smoothed average price. This indicates a continuation of the current price movement and is considered a bullish signal which is sometimes followed by an upward movement in the price of the equity. "

"The Price Phase Indicator is moving to the upside. This is a bullish continuation signal showing that an uptrend is in place and that prices are more likely to continue to the upside than they are to drop. "

"The Money Flow RS Indicator has crossed the 20% line and is moving to the upside. This is a bullish reversal indicating that money is flowing into this equity which is often followed by increases in equity price. "

The video that can with the system talks about using other indicators to confirm the buy or sell signal. Apparently the expert rating tends to be a little early. If you bought on 2/3 you would have paid between 7 1/8 an 7 5/8. Two days later an indicator called "Phase" confirmed the buy - at basically the same price as the first signal.

I checked out the buy and sell signals for the last year with the following results (buying and selling at the open on the day following the confirmation signal):

5/1 - buy @ 5 3/8
7/2 - sell @ 4 7/8
7/20 - buy @ 5 3/16
12/1 - sell @ 9 3/8
2/08 - buy @ 7 1/2

One losing trading, One winning trade, and currently in a winning trade. The net gain on the first two trades was 3 11/16 per share. Not too bad.
