Skeeter, I'm not asking you for your opinion. I just want the hard numbers from a reliable source. Follow me so far?

The problem in this industry is that there is no source of hard data on ASPs. None!

If you want you can hang your hat on Best Buy's numbers. There's a lot of contrary data out there. PC Data has -3% but who really cares!

The way I look at it is very simple. DELL is the very best of the PC companies [it doesn't hurt that IBM, HP, Compaq, etc. are all run by scammers]. DELL is still growing its business geographically and stealing market share in its domestic market and Europe. As long as it can continue to do this at the expense of every other PC company
and, at the same time, expand into new and profitable product categories I don't care.

As long as DELL can continue to outperform the market and make its numbers I will continue to invest. Once the DELL train really starts to slow down I'll be looking to get off and find me a faster train. The only problem is I'm not sure there are any faster trains out there yet!
