<< Surely the Republicans applauded Livingston after they found out
he had cheated on his wife. But they applauded him for flatly admitting it ...

Oh. Thanks for explaining it to me. So...... you are saying that Livingston admitted to cheating on his wife after his first affair? Hmmmm!? I don't think that I got it right. Oh, I know. You are saying that Livingston admitted that he had cheated on his wife after he cheated on her the second time? Oh, I guess I am wrong. Did he admit to it after his 3rd affair? No?

Hmmmmm!? You mean that he admitted to cheating on his wife after finding out that his affairs were going to be the subject of a news release?

Oh, now noble! <g>

And, then, of course, the Republican Party gave him a standing ovation. How noble of them!

Now that you have explained all this to me, what do you think the Republicans are going to use instead of their "Family Values" portion of their Election 2000 platform?

What a crock. When Democrats found out about Clinton's affair they rightly condemned him. When the Republicans find out about Livingston's affair, they give him a standing ovation.

Ahhhhh, the sweet smell of "Family Values", Republican style. <g>
