This isn't going to be much help trading Canadian stocks on Canadian Exchanges, but I do recommend to anybody trading U.S. stocks that they look at Datek.
The service puts all Canadian online brokers to shame. Other than the fact that their 800 number doesn't yet work in Canada, they treat Canadian traders the same as U.S. domestic traders.
Datek combined with a good streaming real-time quote service (preferably with news, level 2 data optional) makes a pretty good platform for anyone.
