Our new pick is Rollerball International (ROLL) a NASDAQ stock. Currently trading at $1.50 (+40%) Rollerball develops, manufactures, distributes and markets a patented design of inline skates under the registered trademark Rollerball. The Co's skates have spherical-shaped wheels instead of flat, disk-shaped wheels. During the last week ROLL stock has been coming off lows and progressing nicely. The stock is currently up about 150% since last week and seems to want a lot more. According to Ken Teasdale, the company CFO, the company has been a steal at these low prices - "There are tremendous possibilities for Rollerball in 1999." He also mentioned to expect press releases in the near future.

Is this the sign of a turnaround? Maybe. Could this be the sign of a great short term play? We think so. Especially considering the press they are receiving from the MTV series - Road Rules, where the young members are fitted well in Rollerball skates and accessories.

There is definitely some buzz floating around lately, and that is exactly the type of action we like to see with a pick. And just wait until people see their web site: rollerball.com

Perhaps the skates will start rolling off shelves...

We consider Rollerball a great short term play.

I personally had a wild 8 minutes in this this stock Friday afternoon. Put in a 2000 share market order at 3:46, got 1000 at 1.50, 500 at 1.875, and 500 at 2.500, watched it go to 3+, watched it fall as fast, and got out at 2.375 at 3:54 for a profit of a grand in 8 minutes. I'll study the longer term view over the weekend...
