mm,

You're using trailing PE. I was using the forward looking PE to get 240 for the end of 98 ($.40 was the estimate (roughly) through 12/99 as of 12/98 and the stock price was at $96). Since we're forecasting a stock price at the end for 12/31/99, and the consensus forecast for 2000 for Rambus is currently $1.06 (although that ends September 2000, so it would be higher looking forward 12 months to 12/31/00), then at a 240 PE, you'd have a stock price of $254 as of 12/31/99.

I'm still not sure I said that very well.
