Bill,

Doesn't raising the lease rates hurt gold longs as well??

I gave it some additional thought and it seems to me that a rate hike would impact the speculative side of the gold market in a way similar to hiking margin rates or requirements on equities.

Basically it would force gold to operate on more of a cash and carry basis instead of permitting the speculators, both long and short, from controlling it.

Whaddya think?

Regards,

Ron

I said this: "Hope you verify the source, and then post the letter so we can all see it?"

You say this: "but you are one big pain in the butt."
Funny, I don't hate you.

I really don't care about the GATA attempts at getting the real world to tell all about GOLD secrets. I feel that you're all acting like little children whoose toys are being demonatrized and many of you can't handle it. The world offers you the ability to buy and sell as much of the Yellow metal as you want. You can go long, and I can go long or short as I please. The truth is that many have never analyzed what causes the POG to move. You charge a price to access to your opinions, as such you should have a higher "degree" of UN-BIAS. By suggesting only reasons why gold should climb you neglect the obvious... that gold may be ready for a decline. When I was PRO gold on GPM, noone had any problems. Well I'm a realists, and don't care where gold goes. I only asked that you post the message, if you don't want to, fine. But you never will get to the truth because you don't even know where to look. I told you a long time ago that Britian is the manipulator in the POG. I may have even told you why.

There as so many questions that you should answer before you scream foul play.

A little testy today?
