here is a little bit more on cyoe...

the curcio we are looking for is definitely Eugene Lawrence Curcio...

the street.com identifies his father as Eugene B. Curcio...

the senior curcio is 72 and retired now and he lives in northern california...he may or may not be the same gene curcio with the mba from pitt...

any way of knowing the STATUS of any of those cases against Gene L. curcio??

David...the gene curcio you found is THE FATHER to the gene curcio that TS.com couldn't find?? get it...actually petrie wrote about having called the father curcio in his original article...if you can find these original articles written back in december by petrie you will find all the dd has been done...

seems to me the issue is pretty simple w/ regard to cyoe...if the sec and naz deem it legal for cyoe to take minority/majority stakes in small(emerging??) carriers who then buy cyoe's repackaged newbridge gear...then this company might be able to survive...<there are so many of these start up telco/reseller/ip/ld companies out there who need help w/ financing and other support services>...

still to me it smells like PONZI...i don't believe cyoe should be able to book sales to companies that it has a greater than 25% ownership stake in...buying from oneself...

it is a strategy of necessity for cyoe though b/c there seem to be few other buyers for their state-of-the art switches...

me thinks the language in the 10-Q <about comdisco and crescent...lack of dd...the mention of no liability on the part of cyoe if crescent can't pay comdisco...and finally the fact uncovered by some that crescent is no longer in good corporate standing in nevada>...all this means that crescent is dead/dying and cyoe is beginning to cover their ass in case comdisco sues them when crescent can no longer pay...has crescent ever made a payment??

if the sec deems it legal for cyoe to take stakes in companies who then buy cyoe's stuff, then cyoe might still have the problems of issuing misleading(false) press releases about the original equipment sale to crescent...plus there was a LATE disclosure of comdisco's equity stake in crescent...very confusing stuff...

for those such as nybellboy, pluvia and any who have experience with the sec...knowing what we know now, have we reached the point where the sec could halt trading at any time???...OR...is it likely the sec would nee to see more egregious behavior before they halt...???

yours in a bad big ten season,
