Is it your understanding that Sony pays any royalties or licensing fees to SNDK? If so does Memory Stick generate any of this? If so, this does mitigate your concern doesn't it?

I am awake!!! Sony invented a superior video tape format called "Beta". They owned the market. But VHS won. Same goes here. The Memory stick is far behind the SmartMedia card and the CompactFlash card.
