How old is the backup?

That would have been my question as well. When it crashed on you, what exactly did it do, and what did you do to get it back up and running? How old was the backup that you used, and how exactly did you restore the registry? If it can load OLE (Object-Linking and Embedding), you got a nice little problem that _might_ require a re-install. Especially if you're Registry is now corrupt. Richard
