I think if you were very familiar with the system, it would be wonderful. You plug in the numbers, it does all the calculations. There are moments when it's actually fun. But navigating around it is sometimes confusing. And odd things happen you spend a frustrating amount of time extricating yourself from. For example, today I was told there was a Fatal Error at one point; at another, I was told I was unable to save my work on Drive C, choose another one. Eventually, I got myself out of it, but in the meantime, it's all time consuming and and distressing.

But... I think maybe next year, which will be the third on which I've used it, will be easier.

I'd say I like it, but I wouldn't suggest using turbotax for the first time on a year in which you were very busy and under time pressure with your taxes. It's like having an accountant, but unfortunately, he has psychotic episodes.
