No...don't do that, your messed up computer at home probably has some sort of a virus...and you will only spread it to your school.

Hi Dan - I'm staying with ALFN for next week :)

I can't follow more than a couple of momentum pennies at the same time as they require constant attention. I have my regular work to do as well and I can't watch the intraday charts as closely as I would like.

Good luck with your pick for next week.

However, I would suggest you keep to your regular format of using your web site or SI to announce your picks. Announcing the pick over the radio doesn't sound like a good idea to me. You've done a great job so far. The Internet gives universal access to information, whereas only those who have access to the radio station would hear the 'pick'. Needless to say someone would quickly post it on this thread in any case.

I know that you have a great track record, but I don't invest without my own independent DD. I wouldn't jump onto anything without first doing my own digging. To jump on something without knowing what it is doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

You may have considered this - but have you given any thought to announcing your picks on a Sunday - so that others can do their own independent DD before the open on Monday. I know that this can create its own problems if Bid's start to build up before the open. The MM's see the interest and surprise surprise there's a gap up at the open, then furious trading for an hour or two, then the inevitable retrenchment before lunch. Thereafter, the stock could go either way for the rest of that day. I guess it's six of one - half a dozen of the other.

Whatever you do it's your call and much continued success to you :)

Next week is 'ALFN week' for me :)

David.

If you release it over the airwave what's the use of putting it up on your web page or SI 9:45???

Daniel, if you release your pick on the radio, then the only people who will be able to hear about it initially will be those within the station's broadcast range (assuming they do not have a live web hook-up... if they do, can someone please provide the URL?).

Not only will this defeat the purpose of releasing your pick after the opening bell, as planned, but you will also likely have many people logging on to this thread and your website saying, "I just heard Daniel on my radio, his new pick is [pump your own ticker symbol here]."

I (and most others) will inevitably wait for your post, but would appreciate it if you didn't expose it while live on the air for numerous reasons including those above.

Having said all that... this is going to be quite the interesting momo play, I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks,
Dave
